Stopped here for lunch today with my husband. The food was great. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth a trip.
My husband got the hot shot sandwich which was a burger with a BLT between two grilled cheese sandwiches with fries and gravy. He could not finish the fries. The sandwich was amazing.
I got the French onion pot roast open face on garlic bread with fries and gravy. It was also amazing. They gave me a steak knife to cut it with but so tender there was no need.
Like the waitress said no small food here. -

As far as bar food, this is as good as it gets. Three words; Jalapeño Corn Chowder. So good. Service is great and very friendly. They also have GLBC Elliott Ness beer on tap! What else is there?

What sort of appears as a dive bar actually has pretty good food. Most dive bars do in my opinion. It's the fancy ones that serve you frozen junk and dive bars run by an old granny making meals from scratch. I'm not sure if this i the case here.
Came here with my family. I had a Reuben which was pretty good for the area. Another idea for me is that Reuben's suck in Pittsburgh. You have to go to NYC to get them or make them yourself. But there was actually meat on my Reuben.
In the end I wanted to pay the bill for my family. So I could look like a big shot. "no i got it". ha ha. And to my surprise the bill was next to nothing! Prices are very reasonable. -

I was thoroughly impressed by the peppers tortellini in flavor, size and price! It's two meals worth of deliciousness. The sauce is sweet, and the meat is flavorful. It also came out extremely quickly.

Went here with a party of 4 and we loved everything we ordered , I had fish and the potions are huge, my wife had steak salad
And she really liked it.
The server was very friendly and good at her job.
Not a huge place but clean
Try this place it's worth it.
